Education

Gosford City and Wyong Shire councils have developed three water education programs for school children.

From childcare to Year 12, the programs are designed to educate children on how to save water in and around the home as well as how our water supply system works and what they can do to ensure our environment is kept clean to preserve our water.

This is done a number of ways through hands on activities to an interactive website.

In addition to the three water education programs listed above, Gosford City and Wyong Shire Council's provide schools and preschools that are connected to townwater with free rainwater tanks and grants of up to $5,000 to install other water saving devices.
