Rebates |

| Gosford City and Wyong Shire Councils have introduced rebates to encourage more residents and businesses to save our town water. Rebates are available to those connected to the town water supply. The value of the Council rainwater tank rebates depends on the size of your rainwater tank:
Households and other water users whose rainwater tank is internally connected are subject to Level 2a water restrictions. Central Coast residents are now able to receive additional NSW Government rainwater tank rebates regardless of their connection to the town supply. Residents can apply for all the rebates directly through their local Council. For more information on these rebates including application forms for both rebate programs click here. Water Efficient Washing Machines A $200 rebate is available to residents, who buy a water efficient washing machine. The washing machine must be water rated* four star or five 'A' or above and purchased new on or after 24 May 2006 and be for personal use. It's important the washing machine you purchase meets the terms and conditions of the Washing Machine Rebate Program. *This water efficiency rating system should not be confused with the stars used in the energy efficiency rating system for white goods. The Gosford / Wyong Councils’ Water Authority recently introduced a rebate scheme for the installation of greywater treatment systems. The rebate scheme allows residents who install a greywater treatment system to their existing home and connect it to the toilet and/or washing machine to apply for a $1000 rebate.
More information on internal connection is available here. The NSW Government now have a rebate available to Central Coast residents for the installation of rainwater tanks. See the rebates section for more details.
